On August 27, 2025, the National Museum of China in Beijing hosted the opening of the international exhibition “The Shining Tower of Civilizations: Cultural Heritage of the National Museums of SCO Countries.” The exposition, organized on the eve of the SCO Summit in Tianjin, brings together 220 unique artifacts from 10 leading museums of the member states.

Uzbekistan is represented by the State Museum of History and the State Museum of Art, showcasing 27 valuable exhibits. These include archaeological discoveries, mural paintings, samples of medieval craftsmanship, as well as applied art from the 19th–20th centuries, vividly reflecting the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The exhibition has become an important international platform that highlights the rich legacy of SCO countries and the historical ties along the Great Silk Road.
