On 5 September 2025, at the initiative of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, an international online academic seminar was held. The event brought together scholars and museum professionals from Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as representatives of the academic community.

Two presentations were delivered during the seminar. First, Minasyants Vazgen Sosovich, Research Fellow at the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, gave a lecture entitled “Selected Unique Exhibits of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan,” providing detailed insights into collection items and their scholarly and cultural significance.

In addition, Barlibayeva Liliya Masyagutovna, Head of the Ethnography Department at the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, presented “The Ethnographic Expedition ‘In the Footsteps of S. I. Rudenko’,” highlighting field-research outcomes, the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, and regional traditions.

The seminar served to further strengthen cooperation between the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan and the scientific and cultural institutions of the Russian Federation, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and outline new prospects for collaboration in the field of museum studies.
