On October 12, 2025, the 7th Taihe Forum, held in Beijing at the Palace Museum (Forbidden City), celebrated the 100th anniversary of the museum’s founding. This distinguished international event, themed “Cultural Heritage and Dialogue of Civilizations,” was attended by leading scholars, museum directors, and cultural heritage specialists from around the world.

Delegates from the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan also participated. In particular, the museum’s Director, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Jannat Khamidovna Ismailova, delivered a paper titled “Museum and Society: at the Intersection of Integrations.”

In her presentation, she discussed the role of museums in modern society, their integrative links across education, science, and culture, and shared experiences of international cooperation among Uzbek museums.

This forum served as a platform to strengthen inter-museum relations, exchange ideas, and explore new approaches in preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
